Yes I'm from the UK originally, though I have some irish family.
You go around the world and you'll realise how cool most the UK actually is. Weather in the winter's shit and the people can be pretty stupid, but that applies EVERYWHERE =[
My mum's family were from northern ireland but had to move because her dad was an englishman and the political climate was hardly suitable for an englishman... compared to Derry Stevenage is heaven =]

I'm from Australia, Mt Isa, Queensland to be specific. It is def way too hot here in the summer.
