Stupid pod. Looks *ok*. The "weathering" doesn't really work on large flat surfaces <.< So adding a landraider is a big no no!

i dont really see what you dont like about it tim, i like the wethering. If i where to make a suggestion it would be to add a lot more scortch markes to the bottom of it, after all it does fall through the atmospere and get REALLY hot..... but, i really like it....why dont you? |

I see waht you mean... it doesn't look that bad, perhapes you shoud mahe the centre and uppermost parts more solid/flat and have the streaks and weathered look concentrated on the bottom, to give a look of downward motion. |

Wow TIm thats much better! Looking very cool now you gonna do anything else to it? maybe put some 'seals' over the doors as something the techs would have done when they shut them in before launch as a way to protect those inside....keep the machine spirit happy Other than that idea i can think of nothing, this looks fab to me as it is now.....gonna stop? do......another one??!! *runs and hides* |

I was going to say that the weathering DOES look better on large surfaces but you already figured it out. That Drop Pod looks brilliant! |

Just lightly drybrushed Scorpion green (last highlight on lenses) over surfaces where the light would hit coming from the lenses  Cheers. |
