Hi peps, I thought I could share with you... ...share some pics of my club buddies who are putting together a new table. A table with nice trenches  I can't wait to put my filthy DG in those sweet looking trenches  But make yourself a picture LinkyJust a short explaination, since Snolbs German is a bit rusted. They started on a base of "Styrodur" (which is used to isolate houses) it's a bit heavier then standard styrene, but much much more resilent. They pocked the Styrodur with Large drills heatguns etc... and made out of balsa-wood the trenches covered all with a mix of sand, white-glue and colour. Well I hope that they finish soon. Cheers

do you mean a "douzuki"? If i had to guess (and i am no expert) i would say it was a "meilko" for rip cuts. I think only Moto has the power to answer this one

Yeah surely! I would say it's a J4p4n35e Saw  If you can tell from that pic what shape the saw-teeth have then you are damn good... ... But I haven't talked to my buddy Harry since 3 months so I can't tell what kind of saw it is exactly. This is just the procject blog.

Well talk to him then, find out! this has become more than a project blog now! its name that random object perfectly thread.... My guess was based on the shape of the handle and the slight curve in the blade. but your right without seeing the teeth you can't be sure

er...pake...er....I know its a japanese saw....i am guessing what kind of japanese saw....and i guessed it was a "meilko"...which is a type of japanese saw.... I guess what with your new admin status your too busy to read the threads now, right?
