Hi fellow Nurglings,
I just joined what seems to be the friendliest Nurgle forum on the web, and thought it might be appropriate to introduce myself. I live in the Chaos Wastes (Sweden) and have been playing with toy soldiers for many, many years. Unfortunately, my painting skills are pretty bad, but I always make sure to play with fully painted armies. Since I recently sold my old Super Shooty Tin Men army (I grew pretty sick of the Bolt Gun metal scheme after more than 3000 points worth of models), I am starting a new project. Yes, that's right: Death Guard! The reasons for this are mainly three:
1. Death Guard fluff rocks & they seem to do pretty well in games too!
2. The possibilities for modifying models are close to limitless - it is time to up my green stuff game!
3. I fell in love with the old Greater Daemon model 10 years ago: bought it, painted it and have never used it... It is time to blow the dust off and finally put it to the test!
Besides DG, I have about 2500 points of IG (Chimera mounted Veterans with lots of Plasma & Melta + several tanks), which are fun both to paint and play with - it is quite different to MEQ gaming!
What else? Well, I would really appreciate if I could get some tips regarding army composition later on.
Now I have to start packing - I am taking Friday off work and am leaving directly from work tomorrow, driving to a weekend tournament in WHFB (yes... I must admit... I play High Elves...)

I live in Stockholm, but am originally from Göteborg.
It is a club tournament with my old gaming friends from the ancient past, nothing formal. I really should have stayed at home this weekend, as the GW store here celebrates its 10 year anniversary and is visited by Anja Wettergren - imagine a pretty woman who paints as well as she does! ;-)
