Hi guys, As Canine Viking Twits are the "army of the month", there tend to be a lot of them out there. I have played vs Canine Viking Twits for years with my Super Shooty Tin Men á la Girly Pink Twink Boy/Lash, but the new codex has really changed the game, I belive. At least one Rune Priest (or even Njal!) will be on the table in every game, and with his Rune Weapon he cancels psychic powers on a 4+/3+. Do you think that the "standard" DP build with Warptime is worth it, when you know that you are going to play vs SW? Are the points spent better on more guys instead? I am so disappointed that I bought a full squad of Battle Psychers to my IG army the week before they released the SW codex...

If you know that you're up against a Rune Priest, I wouldn't bother. If you don't know for sure, don't second-guess yourself.

If you think you need Warptime to win, you're not playing right. I can see how Lash builds might suffer, bit in my opinion that's a good thing. Who knows, maybe some clever dick at GW actually conceived the idea that Njal should throw a spanner in the works of the love-it-or-hate-it Lash. As for guard psykers... they're for converting into Genestealer Hybrid Magi

<--- I'm with Mr Drawsalot here. Warp Time is hardly a game winner by itself, just a cheap and easy way of making a Daemon Prince a LOT more beefy. Lash IS a game winner by itself, but Lash users deserve all the psychic hoods and Njal Stormcallers the enemy throws at them.
