Alright, with the advent of the pre-order images of the new Skaven items, I've fallen in love with the huge Rat Ogre from the Screaming Bell set. I'll most likely be making the model itself into a Plague Furnace for fantasy, while the rest shall go to terrain for 40k-with the exception of the Grey Seer (A possible future sorcerer) and the Rat Ogre, whom will become a Daemon Prince for my army.
For those of you whom haven't seen the Plague Furnace and/or the Sprues...

Having bought the current Rat Ogres previously (which I think need a re-sculpt as well), I know that this sucker will be BIG I mean seriously, look at the size of his hand and compare it to the sprue; it looks like he could reach up and yank the sprue out of place with no problem! Also, I saw that his left hand-the one that normally grips the main platform-is seperate, which will allow me to re-position it. The plan is:
1: Gussy up the figure itself
2: Make a good scenic base for him, give him more of a presence.
3: Find something good to make a sword, spear, halberd, or scythe out of to go in his right hand
4: Have something like a dead Guardsmen, (*Gasp*) Firewarrior, or bashed-up Marine held by their arm in this thing's left hand
5: Add wings! What good is a Daemon Prince without wings?!
For the weapon, a trip to RM here the other day led me to the following Rackham models as possible sources for weapons should I go the Scythe route:

And the last update concerns the wings. Upon a quick skimming of the Warhammer Fantasy Battle Bits section, I came across a section solely for wings, which brings me to the following dilemma: which set of wings to choose?
Choice #1:
Dragon WingsAdvantages: PLASTIC. This will make them lightweight and much easier to work with, as well as making things like re-shaping and bending much, MUCH easier.
Disadvantages: Possibly TOO large, and rather generic in appearance.
Choice #2:
Winged Nightmare WingsAdvantages: Seem to be smaller yet still large enough, have a nice torn-up/abused appearance that befits a Nurgle Daemon Prince, and are more "folded" (which is something I'm looking for).
Disadvantages: Metal. Harder to work with and could present balance issues, and will be more likely to break off. Also, they're still a little too "open" for what I had planned.
Choice #3:
Zombie Dragon WingsAdvantages: Compensates for the length by being rather narrow, making them more proportional to the figure I'll be using as the base model; they have a nice rotted look, even more so than the Winged Nightmare Wings.
Disadvantages: Metal again, and even with how much more slender they are they're still rather long.
Choice #4:
Pegasus WingsAdvantages: Folded up rather tightly like I want, and the feathered look can still look rather Nurgle-y when done properly and help differentiate it from a Khornate Daemon.
Disadvantages: Metal yet again, and the feathers could make or break the model.
I'm still open to other suggestions; I want to know what you guys think!
