well maybe, but I don't think you should have to give(bride) people with models to get them to participate!
I would do it I I just could be motivated to do some 28 mm stuff again, so yeah maybe after the painting challenge, I still got those daemons to paint you know :P

Its a minor reward per se. I would not say bribe, because it is not a guarantee that whoever particpates in a months mission will win. I think a prize is a pretty cool idea. I mean we all love to model...so why not a small incentive to show appreciation. I do not want to sound all prize greedy but if there was no prize I would STILL participate.

i like the idea of giving away a prize :)

Anyway, as this months mission is to make THREE objective markers, i am going to extend the time to two months :)

so you all have until the end of october to finish them.

good luck :)

The end of October! But I had a great idea for an (yes just one) objective marker:( but just joined here.

Enough whining... When will the November mission be posted? On the first?

Oh, and just a suggestion, and I don't know if you can make them with this forum engine, but maybe some of those snazzy medals like they have on other forums to put under our avatar as rewards? Some very nurglesque chest candy might be nice!
But then I've seen the prize thing become an effective motivator on at least one other forum.

Don't panic young pus bubble, there are plenty of nurgly incentives on this board already. Check out the shop. The challenge is for 3 objective markers, but if you can get them done by the end of next month, I think you can still get partial points. Good luck!

yes the nov mission goes up on the first (if i remember) and you do still get points for completing missions late. Its all explained in the rules bit.

as for the cool medals etc....we have enough trouble getting the stuff we use already done so i don't think thats gonna work...feel free to pester Dezartfox, but we are still waiting for our blight grenades...

Hey thanks *wants the helmetcrab* those are great too. I might be getting some GIF animator/editing software if you need or want some contributions.
I need to get to work on some objectives anyway, so I might have a late entry up soon.
*patiently awaits November's mission*

I have paint on all 3 now, but I don't own enough paint colours/ static grass yet to get all of these looking exactly the way I want. Hopefully "table-top quality" will be enough to qualify for some malevolent mission points. In any case, these are the first things for my army that I've painted, so it has been a good motivator, also I tried using some new painting techniques (sponge) so if nothing else it's been a good learning experience too.

I'll do some more work on 'em tonight & I'll take some pics on Halloween.
