Basically everything that can deepstrike deepstrikes, the 2 marine units and prince will probably deploy, possibly the oblits too, hopefully the marines can live long enough to act as icons for everything else coming down.

I am not...NOT going to give you...YOU advice on a list Tim XD

But I am curious, could you explain why you made the choices you have? Why 4 combi weapons for example, why melta and fists over chain fists, why no flamers, why only one special weapon in the marines? etc etc.

this way we can learn....LEARN you see? :)

THe prince is a basic prince because he's a fire magnet, he's to keep alive the 6 man squads until reinforcements arrive, most people are wise to Warptime now so will be prepared.
THe combination of combi weapons is so they can fulfil both roles, on the turn they deepstrike they can blast any tanks or characters they land near, and when it's time to charge anything nasty they can unleash plasma death, a flamer could be added or even a heavy flamer, it was either the Reaper cannon or the combi weapons, I thought that the combi weapons would be far more useful tactics wise than a twin auto cannon when I deepstrike.
I chose powerfists over chainfists as the majority of the time you're attacking rear armour, you don't need a chainfist for that, on the rare occasions I'll be attacking a Landraider I'll just have to deal with it, anything else if fine with fists.
The special weapon is there just because really. I have to have the 6 man units or I'd just have daemons and terminators, so they're my starting units that can hold off against any incoming transports. Hopefully they'll get ignored for the juicier targets :)

Yeah PM's can be easily, though it's just be a resilient version of my Global Anti-Weight Watchers,
Probably 3 squads in Rhinos, 2 vindicators and a prince or 2! Or instead of vindies predators. Whichever took my fancy. In my mind Nurgle and Global Anti-Weight Watchers use vindies and 1ksons and noise marines use predators, I dont know why I think that it just suits them more.

What I particularly like about this list is the preservation of an armour save and increased difficulty to be wounded against the incredibly potent Land Raider Redeemer. I have become rightfully fearful of the Flatulent Geckos Army w/ Redeemer + Vulkan

You'd still get your FNP, as it isn't AP1 or 2, it's AP3.
If you werent allowed to have FNP because it ignores your armour save then Plague Bearers and Ork Painboys would be useless, as would guard medics as they'd practically NEVER get to use FNP.

So. The only thing you DONT get FNP from is the list it says in the rulebook: AP1 and 2, power weapons, weapons that are double your strength and weapons that NEVER allow an armour save (such as Wind of Chaos)

I just read that about 10 minutes ago on pg 75 . Not only do I feel foolish but humbled. I retract all statements said previously.....except that the redeemer still lays down some pretty sweet looking templates.
