1500pts swedish tournament style.

Ok so i have been ordered to join one of my lgc 40k teams at a tournament called BSK here in sweden.
The list is meant to be able to take the impossible fights up to a draw wich i'm kinda famous for.
Also BSK uses the kompsition point system(KPS) that we have here in sweden and getting to low score can be fatal in games.

Here is the list i was going to use before i knew that they will use the KPS. the () after the unit cost is what penalty it gives in the KPS. The scale starts at 100 and goes down.. fast.

-76 wich gives me a KPS result of 24, this is kinda low and now i am looking for other options to use.

strawberry bitch thinking of taking a chaos lord with d.weapon instead of the prince.. sucks in comparison but only gives (-6)
And strawberry bitch thinking of maybe drop one of the plaguemarine squads as they cost alot both pts and KPS wise.
Oblits takes down the the KPS alot too but i kinda need the antitank.

Suggestions?

The list should be as good as you can get it and the KPS should land around 35 and up atleast.

hi,
you are giving your KPS away pretty fast. I see that its not easy for a Death Guard with those scores.
I guess, i'd go without Plaguemarines, or at least swap the squad with flamers for 10 Chaos Space Marines with 2 Meltaguns and Champ with P-Fist. This gives you just a -5 on KPS score instead of -11 for the Plaguemarines.
Obliterators work best in large groups. I guess 2 of them is not enough, so i'd drop these guys and take another squad of Havocs with 4 MLs or 4 Autocannons.

Can you explain how the effects are, if you have a low komp.score? Because my idea would be:

Huron (-4)
2x10 CSM in Rhino with 2 Meltaguns and P-Fist (-16)
1x9 CSM in Rhino wit 1 Meltagun (-5)
2x9 Havocs with MLs (-6)
1x10 Havocs with MLs (-3)
--> (-34) which will give a komp score of 66

All the tournaments uses the KPS differently, some goes at it so it directly affects the game, so that if a low KPS person meets a high KPS person and draws, the high KPS person win's.

And strawberry bitch going nurgle as that's what i play.

Gonna think about another unit of havocs, strawberry bitch starting to like them!

havocs are a fine firebase. But you do need some units to distract your enemy, so he cannot shoot all he has on havocs. But with those Kompscores the havocs are pretty strong i think...

But i dont understand the KPS thing. its meant to stop 'power' armies right? but it seems to ignore FLUFF AND the fact that there is already a points system to punish peolpe for taking the cool things. very odd and i would boycott too frankly.

They say kinda outright that they love to insert badgers into my face take fluff into the picture as that would open up for abusement for the extreme powerplayer.

Seems to me they're making it harder to play, but I admit I am fuzzy on the rules. It's a shame you have to compromise your list that way. Sorry I don't have any helpful suggestions. Who else uses the KPS, is it just Sweden?

Here in Germany we restrict mostly the Elite, FA and HS - Choices, so you cannot take three squads of Oblits, for example. Or not the same HQ-Choice twice...
i dont like it either. I favor playing without restrictions...
But those KPS are the weirdest thing i've ever seen
