Alright I actually did 85% of this marker on monday afternoon and I can say that I am pretty impressed by the outcome. The story for this piece is that 'Infestus' banner Bearer of the Plague Marines was segregated from his company by a rogue troop of Tyranids. The outcome was that Infestus stood his ground and anihilated all five Nids. the cost of this battle of course was his legs and flesh from his banner arm. Unfaltering though thru his conquest Brother Infestus refuses to let his company's banner fall.
I now need two more. Any ideas for the other two?

well, it sounds great! other ideas??? a stash of bolters, gas masks, a strange spherical object without any markings.....a book...

phantom i think the only reason you didnt get any responses is when you edit your original post it doesnt show up as a thread with a NEW post...so no one goes to look. in future i sugest posting new stuff in the thread as a reply to the original

Of course, I love the skeletal marine, PhantomNinja... but what really caught my eye was the banner-pole. Is that a conversion, or did you swipe it from another kit? Looks great!

As for the Banner the torso and side skulls came from the Vampire counts skeleton wariors box, and I cut the head off the undivided chaos star topper which would be that neat IG skull you see on top. Cut the head off and glued it to the top of the banner. Voila! I Believe I might be able to crank another marker out. I was moving out this weekend and that ate up the whole three days I was off. Sigh*now I gotta unpack all my W40k stuff and its ALOT.

This is a rough cut for my statue that is going to be holding a Book of Nurgle in his hands. I am satisfied with the paint job so far, just need some minor touch ups like to paint the base and add a wash and finally place and paint the book in his hands. Now I just need one more before the end of the week.

Why thank you, I am still in the rough process of thinking of marker numba' 3. i have to see what I have left out of my bitz and such. maybe I shall hit up the toy store and look for tiny tiny bugs. ??? I dunno

Ohhh now I am thinking of creating one where a giant fly spawn of some sort is tearing itself out of the ground. i have numerous ideas for this one as well. Maybe some insect tearing its way through a Marine, or having it appear out of the warp. Hmmm I think I shall attempt four markers.
