All nominees are very characterful this month I have to say.

Personally I find it to be a really tough choice between Animerik's Obliterator and Nurglephill's Dreadnought. In the end I think I'll have to go with Phill's Dread, it might have been the relative novelty of equipping the Dread with a two-handed close combat weapon.

Wow, the new creations here never siezes to amaze me.
I gotta go with Mortation though, looks great and most unique of all I have seen so far ;D
The Dreadnaught would be a solid #2. though There is nothing of value I can add to this conversation.

Wow Lovely entries!

My opinion on all

Animerik - Obliterator - Super Great conversion/scratch... very gritty paintjob that looks very fitting on the armor eyes lights but looks rushed and unfinished on some parts ( looking at base) Looking at the mini overall I think some parts are unclear and unsharped wich is ok for nurgle but I think its a tiny bit to exagerated in some parts like the chest or head since i love to insert badgers into my face quite figure out if its armour or flesh...

Lorax - Great Unclean One - This is the fun miniature of the month, it has papa nurgle name all over it and its so funny it made me giggle a bit. Good Scratch and good paintjob.
Looking at painting some parts look flat ( the strips of cloth on arms) but overall very detailed... the blood could be a bit more deep.

Nurglephill - Dreadnought - Another super Great convo... But the paintjob is VERY ambitious since you tried a NMM aproach to metals, some parts it payed off well and others not so quite ( I find NMM not very fitting to unclean miniatures such as nurgle ones but thats just my personal preference) Painting looks polished and finished.

Pake - Mortarion- The best tecnically painted from this comp yet its just to clean conceptwise. The convo is sweeeeet yet not very venturous for THE Mortarion... I would espect someting more dynamic. Sometimes less is more I know and I get that vibe from your works and I really like it!... but in Mortarion case I espect the 40k world to rumble just by its presence, you know?

My vote goes for Nurglephill... his painting is not as good as Pakes and is convo not as scratch as Animeriks but the balance is perfect... Animerik was close but that base painting really put it down

Hope no one got offended by my opinion I was just rying to help :fly:

Well was a tought choice but I went for Pake with his unique Mortarion mini, I really like the atmosphere it has and the dark setting. Great job on both painting and converting man!

Navarro: Great feedback and it is great to get pointers from such a talanted converter/painter.
Thanks for helping me improve mate ;) Also just on a side notice, the base is not done and the paintjob is not finished yet ....

Great job everyone :)

Wow, was this ever a tough decision. In the end, I went with Pake and Mortarion. I gotta say, I'd love to own every one of the entries.

I cannot say I was surprised whent he results came up. I ended up putting my vote in for Phil. I really like this conversion a lot, the white is a really nice contrast and really well done. Pake, you are godly at all things nurgle, and your mort is amazing, I wish I could have just cast a vote for both.
Cheers for the nomination, and looks like it is shaping up to be a good contest [at least between you other three!]

Once I got over my initial disappointment that I couldn't vote for Navarro this month, I eventually had the tough choice between Phil and Pake.

Phil's dreadnought is a masterpiece in imagination and modelling, but in the end I had to give it to Pake because the paint job on that thing gives me wood.

Grats to all the nominees, all very nice work.

I had a HARD time casting my vote, but in the end I went for Morty here simply because I am not used to Mr Grubby White Pake painting models in dark colour schemes.
Oh, and the paint job looking like a Jakob Nielsen commission swayed my vote in his favour a wee bit as well.

I will send you the eBay links of those Castle Vania games I still need to complete my collection right away, Pake.
