Hey, All Posting my proverbial/requisite "HELLO" post. I have been playing 40k since about '97 or so - immediately after 3rd edition came out. Early on, one of my good friends played Death Guard/Nurgle-Themed CSM, so I went the route of Green Marines in Drag and Smelldar armies. Then I had a second good friend start playing DG/N. So I branched-out into Evil Ultrasmurfs to get my CSM fix. Friend 1 is no longer into 40k, and Friend 2 is now on a heavy Ork and Smelldar binder. So I finally decided to, at long last, throw my hat in with the Legion of Pestilence. I just started truly collecting for this recently (although have had 2 squads of Plague Marines for my BL army for a while now). But I have collected quickly - Ebay is my friend! I have a bunch of different types of Plague Marines - not the very oldest plastic ones, but the old metal ones, new metal ones, and even a squad of the Forgeworld ones (and a squad of FW DG Terminators). I've grabbed just over 50 Plague Marines so far, and have also modeled/painted two squads of The Purge (for Las-Plas goodness). Typhus leads the pack, but I have en route to me a Nurgle Lord/Sorcerer model (converted Fabius) to bolster the HQ department (again, Ebay is my friend). Couple of Land Raiders, Vindicator, couple of Predators (yeah, I know, more HS than I can field at once - I play a good bit of Apocalypse), the aforementioned FW Terminators, and plenty of Rhinos to go around. Glad to finally be on board! On a side note, I just read the portion of the 2nd Horus Heresy novel about Warmaster Horus and Co. going to Davin's Moon and facing a zombie horde and Nurgle Daemon Prince. Perfect timing!
