Right,

if you have any questions about the Mission in general or this months Mission specifically post them here and I'll do my best to answer them.

Otherwise, use this place to discuss the Mission

Ok so for this months mission <sept> we have to make objective markers. thats understandable, but seeing that I have packed my books for W40k I seem to have forgotten just what an objective marker is. :squigfail: :squigfail: Yeah I know it is lame but come on guys I ma here to PAINT and MOD! So far all I got is
* Ammunition marker ?
* Fallen comrade ?
* some sort of precious power source??
I dont know if these count. :(

an objective marker could be any of the mentioned above, as long as they fit in with the rest of the army and is something they would think wort fighting for!
hope this helps :)

yes Cass has it spot on. It is simply anything you think your army would fight to get, or protect. could be anything as simple as their leaders favourite bolt gun that he simply can't do without...his pet nurgling...to a crashed thunderhawk gunship containing an old STC data base!

Up to you. ;)

Right, the mission has been going for a few months now and the work produced so far has been FAB!

I confess i am a little down hearted about the numbers of people taking part so i would like some feed back please. how could the mission forum be improved?
is one mission per month too much, should it be every two months?
Is the points system to dull?

what do you think would encourage more people to join in a win the prize?

many thanks

phill

Well these thing take time to get really going, so I think it pretty fine so far.
But yes that every mission should be over a two month period might work better, but then again don't most people finish there stuff?
Well maybe not this month, but we both now what I've been up to :P

you could alter the timelimit depending on the mission... maybe this months is worth 2 months time but the banner only one for example...

My two cents, the month time limit is excellent, I always find myself eager to hear about the upcoming months mission. The point system is fine as well. and to tell you the truth I forgot about the prize due to me having fun with the missions. I believe some members dont participate because they are busy with their own armies. My army is SLOOOOOWly coming along so I can afford taking time off for the missions, so dont feel bad. Some of these pieces require our precious sprues and some people love to insert badgers into my face afford to let those go. As for makin people want that prize..hmmm how about a hint of what it is, I think that will get the fires burning

I would like to participate... I just feel like I don't have a deep enough bits-box yet. Sorry, phil. :(

Well... hmmm. I do kinda have something I could maybe cobble together, but I don't think I could get it painted in time. I'll see what I can come-up with before the end of the month for an objective marker. What size does the base have to be?
