I was playing in our club tournament some while ago. It did´t went out good... I usally play with rhinos but I decided that I wnated to test a all out footslogger list. Here it is. I dont remember to much of the 5 games we played. Game 1. All around daemons. The first rounds... He managed to deepstrikes his flamers between the edge and my troops...Killing 8 PM:s... Soulgrinders... Wich my Obliterators and powerfist-squad managed to taking care of. My sorcerer againts a... Lord of change. Result: 10-10 Game 2 Against Annoying Gits The only thing I managed to do. Take out his Landraider and killing the termis... I really dont like this guy. Result: 3-17 Game 3 Against Tau. His "what they now are called" scatters 12 inch towards my troops. Before After Result: 15-5 Game 4 Space Marines A very odd mission. We were using the shortedge as deployment zones and everything could outflank... A dredd outflaking another dredd. Result: 10-10 Game 5 Againts Robot Boy Toy. I´m so tired all the game and made alot of misstake... I´m so so so screwed... Result: 0-20 Taking a 7 placed out of 10. Sorry guys. And sorry Squigg, but footsloggers arent fun to play...

Sorry about your defeats and 7th place, but you can see from your army list that nothing much is going on...
There's no 'bang', and 10 man units of PMs is a bad idea. 7 is sacred because it works so well.
The single dread and two obliterators simply aren't going to last, or do enough damage, especially in 1750.
Try to think of a specific battle plan, add in a couple of spicy units to help achieve that plan, and rework you PM units.
Better luck next time!

Yeah, I'm with Mab ... I use 10-man squads because I go for Icon Marines rather than Plaguemarines and I need to be ten strong to get the second plasma/meltagun. For a squad of Plaguemarines 10 guys is overkill, 7 or 8 PM's will do the job just fine and leave you with room for some Generic Bearers or Raptors or something like that. With footsloggers you have to come up with a proper overall plan and specific tasks for every squad because simply plonking some slow, short-ranged units on the table is a recipe for disaster ... 40K just doesn't work like that anymore, that was 3rd edition. That's why I am thinking about things like missile launching havocs, flying lords, raptors, rhinos and obliterators nowadays. Screw Mortarion's teachings - he's a dummy!

I'm severely lacking in the genital department Yeah I know, it was an interesting time to play 40k, my best friend played ig and he really hated my deathguard

You did not miss much. Rogue Trader was a hilarious mess, 2nd edition was a horrible mess, and 3rd edition started out as simplified chess with pretty dollies. I didn't get interested in 40K until halfway through 3rd edition, but nowadays the game is leaps ahead of WHFB when it comes to internal balance and fluidity of gameplay.
