Tim that army looks superb, and the Termy you have started to paint looks superb as well. But that Libby...oh my goodness he is just one of the best things i have seem. How have you done his face? Its extraordinary. I am lost for words.
And while your at it how did you do his armour....actually everything on it please.

His face isn't painted yet It's just the first three steps of below

The armour colour is simply:

-black undercoat
-cover with Iyanden Darksun
-Wash with Badab black wash.
-Highlight with Desert Yellow
-Highlight with a mix of Desert yellow and Bleached bone, 2:1
-Highlight with bleached bone,
-Highlight with white and bleached bone, 1:1

well, already it looks better than i can do

and thanks for the paint scheme, i might steal it for my HQ armour...

No idea on how to paint the skin Not done normal looking skin since.. I can't remember

WoW great looking Termies. I really like the Deathwing style too *must be strong not to ...* Someday *not in next five years* I want to do a deathwing company or something like that...
Nice paintscheme. very nice and thanks for the explaination.
For the face you might try mixing brown with bleached bone/white. This will turn in a normal human skin-tone... depending on your mix. if you want it more redish like for ounds etc. mix a bit of scab red into the first brown mixture.

I tried a new bone scheme, just Iyanden Darksun with badab black wash and highlights, didn't turn out too nice so went back to original scheme.

No idea WHAT I was thinking , the bone is clearly the better scheme.
Got three terminators started today,





I decided to leave the insides of the legs brown, it's a bugger to paint and adds a nice bit of contrast and gives the illusion of "layers" of armour. Like they're weaker at the back or something ::)

Hmm but the nurglesque influence is pushing through I think.

Ahh Deathwing, one of my first joys in 40k as I was a advid DA player, Starting with DA I built a full wing each of Ravenwing and Deathwing. These make me very happy and nastalgic (spelled wrong I believe) though yours are far more detailed then I coulda hoped for 12-14 years ago.

You are right, your first bone scheme is spot on, I think the second papa nurgle was trying to get you to dinge things up, glad you went back to the original.
