Also, unrelated to this challenge blog but meh, I picked up a Venerable Dreadnought NEW for £17.25 instead of the usual £35. I'm not a fan of this model, lets see if I can make it look any good..

Cut off the head of the Drad! That I thiink is the first important step to make it look better. And the silly Wings on the Exhausts.
The Sword-wing frontplate suits pretty good the DW-theme and could be painted in a cool way

The little four-centred arch thingys are cool for the DW and DA theme, you can paint it's "story" in there like in churches and such stuff

i agree with moto. a new head.....a new...terminator head?

. why dont we ever see a dread with a terminator head? i dont get that. well now tim HAS to do it

and the wings and the scroll between the exhaust just look stupid to me, a complete nonsence (what...i have an opinion

)

but otherwise i completely trust your ability to do a fab job on it

Went a bit mad with the glow on the cannon, but ah well, from a distance. on my shelf, it actually looks like it's glowing ::)

Very nice, I like the light sourcing alot. My only criticism is that the blades of the ccw look a little weak, the slightly 'wet look' and shade of blue seem very much at odds with the rest of the model.
