i am kind of struggling with my self and the Death Guard. I really love our Grandfather Nurgle and the Death Guard.
BUT i am playing to much tournaments and "training" right now. And i dont see how a Death Guard Army could have the same effect as a Double-Lash.
For Nurgles Sake, i tried something like this:

Demon Prince, Warptime, Wings, Nurgle

Chaos Cybot with TL-Lascannon or 4 Terminators with Plasma-Combi

7 PM with Plasmagun, Meltagun, Champ with P-Fist and Plasma-Combi in Rhino
7 PM with Plasmagun, Meltagun, Champ with P-Fist and Plasma-Combi in Rhino
7 PM with 2 x Meltagun, Champ with P-Fist in Rhino

Chaos Pred, Autocannon, 2 Heavy Bolters, Havoc-Launcher, Demon
Chaos Pred, TL-Lasc., 2 Lascannons
7 Havocs, 4 Rocket Launchers, Icon of Nurgle

And i have to say, i am NOT that satisfied with the list as i wanted it. I didnt even know why. Then i just took the Codex: Space Marines.

In 1650 Points i get this:

Librarian (Gate&Nullzone)

10 Terminators, 2 Cyclones, 2 Chainfists

2x10 Marines with Meltagun, Champ with P-Fist, Rocket Launcher and Rhino
1x5 Marines with Champ, P-Fist, Razorback with TL-Heavy Bolter

2x7 Devastators with 4 Rocket Launchers
1x Predator with Autocannon and Heavy Bolters

To fill the points up to 1850 i'll take 5 Assault Terminators with TH/SS on foot. Maybe Deep-Striking.

So what do you guys think? Is this a list, which reflects the tactics of the Death Guard with the Space Marine Codex?

If you are going for a (pre) heresy era Deathguard army the space marine codex will work better for you.

Otherwise, your first list has some obvious problems; the first two Plaguemarine squads - switch the weapons so that you have matched pairs, and if I were you I'd drop the combi weapons, and the powerfist from the double plasma.

Can't say that I'm a big fan of predators, but two is better than one. They might both work better if they were identically armed.

hmm. Thanks for your comment. I have to say, that the mixed weapons work pretty good with me. And i dont know what i could take with the points i spared, after i take out the Combic-Weapons and one Powerfist. (which gives me 70 Pts)
Maybe another 2 Terminators, so i could take 2 squads of 3 with plasma-combi...
